I'd love to see a
Project Notes
section added to every Opus Clips project.
As creators, we often work on larger productions over multiple editing sessions. Having a dedicated space for internal notes would make it much easier to manage projects without relying on external documents or memory.
Some examples of how I would use it:
* Mark where I left off before closing the project.
* Identify which clips should be upgraded with Opus Agent illustrations.
* Note which clips need custom B-roll.
* Flag clips that need manual review.
* Keep track of clips already published.
* Write reminders for future edits or revisions.
* Store video-specific ideas, hooks, or title concepts.
* Leave notes for collaborators working on the same project.
Even simple features like checkboxes or bullet lists would dramatically improve workflow.
For example:
☐ Review Clip 4 for illustrations
☐ Repurpose Clip 8 for LinkedIn
☐ Export Clip 12 without captions
☐ Rewrite title for Clip 15
This would turn Opus Clips into more than just an AI clipping tool—it would become a lightweight production workspace where creators can manage an entire content project from upload through publishing.
As an added enhancement, it would be incredibly valuable if notes could be attached not only to the overall project but also to individual clips. That would allow creators to flag specific clips with reminders like "Best candidate for AI illustrations," "Needs brand-safe review," or "Post next Tuesday," making it much easier to organize and complete larger content libraries.
