Captions it's not alligned anymore

I do have a caption template and it's not being respected anymore.
Scenario 1
I do have two people talking, person 1 top and person 2 bottom of the screen, the caption
stays in the middle, great it perfect
Scenario 2
BUT when one person only is talking the their are centralized in the middle, the caption stays over their face, before it used to go at the bottom of the screen automatically

It seems like one of the main things that "auto" should do is choose the best location for a caption. In my case, the clipping AI generated a bunch of clips with nice, open sections of whitespace in the middle, then proceeded to put the captions over my face at the bottom. I retained the projects in which it did that in case you want to be able to analyze them.
