OpusClip Feature Requests

Hello, in ecommerce we always work in batches wich is nothing else than one video vaariated into 3 more versions, therefore we need more upload volume in order to save time. also we also heavenly rely on the number of a ad, when i upload a file named ,,5'' it shows some retarded ass title while it generates and it also downloads with the weird as title, i would like to maintain the same Name of the file even after the output because this is important for tracking wich ads win since we launch the same ads in multiple countries

Hi currently Opus still thinks that Facebook Reels have to be under a certain length so doesn't let you post clips as reels if over a certain length and worse still it completely disables the Scheduler button both single scheduled and Bulk Scheduler if your Reel is judged too long. However Facebook updated their own features quite a few months ago so that ALL video posted on their platform is currently classed as, and served up as REELS. Please would you update the features on Opus Pro to match so we can post any length of video as a Reel, many thanks,

Subject: Feature request: Trial Reels support in /publish-schedules Hi OpusClip team, I'm an OpusClip Pro user ( joshua@m30marketing.com ) building automation against your API for our podcast's daily content cadence (5-10 clips per day). The integration is otherwise working great — clip discovery via /exportable-clips, scheduling via /publish-schedules, social copy generation, all solid. One missing piece: I can't find a way to publish as an Instagram Trial Reel rather than a standard Reel. When I post manually via the OpusClip mobile app, I can toggle Trial Reel on. When I post via the API, it always lands as a standard Reel. A few questions: Does /publish-schedules currently support a Trial Reels parameter? I tried sending trial_params (Meta Graph API spec format), trialParams, and isTrialReel at the top level, inside postDetail, and inside postDetail.custom — all five locations were silently ignored and the Reel posted normally. If it's not currently supported, is it on the roadmap? Trial Reels are central to how creators in our category (long-form podcast → short clips) test content with non-followers before committing to follower feeds. Without API support, we have to choose between full automation (your API) and Trial Reel testing (your mobile app). If it IS supported and I'm just using the wrong field name or shape, could you point me to the correct usage? My account is on Pro plan. The IG account I'm publishing to (@thebrokemillionaires_) is a Creator-type professional account, 1,000+ followers, with Trial Reels enabled (confirmed by successful manual posts). Every time I run a long-form video through the AI clipper, it generates different crop positions for each clip — even though they’re all pulled from the same video with the same layout. This is especially frustrating for talking head content or screen recordings where the subject or framing stays mostly consistent. It makes the clips look jarring when posted together and adds a lot of unnecessary manual work just to realign each crop and maintain consistency. This could be avoided if the crop positioning stayed consistent across clips unless there’s a clear reason to shift (like a scene change or movement). Feature Request: Add a toggle or setting for “Consistent Cropping Across Clips” Or allow users to define a fixed crop that all clips must follow unless overridden manually Would love to see this fixed or added — it’s a huge pain point for anyone creating multi-clip edits from one video.

I be importing videos and then it looaaaaaaaads wich wastes my fucking time and then the captions still to fucking low and then i have to move them up and then it fucking loooooaaaaaaads again thait is bullshit pls make it faster somehow P.s im not leaving bro Opus is definetly better than bullshit ass submagic so youre already doing a good job but i'd like to waste less time Sincerely

I'd like to be able to see on the calendar, only posts i have scheduled for a certain social platform. When i have different strategies for each, it becomes complicated to see each platform. I'd like to be able to select which platforms i'm looking at, but have it default to all of them. While I'm here, could you please connect to Reddit somehow. Thanks.

Love that there is AI to automatically cut up videos into clips, but it'd be great to have a space to manually cut videos into clips at your own preference while maintaining the auto-generated captions. I could do this in another video editing software, but I like how OpusClip generates captions and keeps the caption style consistent with my brand. That's already 70% of the work done for me.

I would like for the opus clip to find the most viral moments across my entire catalog of videos on my YTchannel. Interweaving them into the most viral Clips made from different videos even if possible. But at a minimum though I would like for it to find the most viral Clips or clippable videos from the entire catalog and show me the viral moments I have missed without having to upload everything and use my credits into office Clips to find out first. I will actually probably be willing to pay premium for this type of feature. I'd even be up willing to offer royalties to Opus clips on a portion of my monetized shorts, for the ones that they brought to my attention
