Feature Requests

It's a shame because I feel like Opus used to be really good, but now the cuts are just really jarring on every clip when there are multiple camera angles and speakers. It cuts before the camera angle changes so it keeps jumping off the person's face for a second before changing camera angle and it just looks so jerky and low quality. Then when you try to fix it it's hard to properly match the frames so it still jumps a bit as the moment is so fast it's hard to split up the timeline accurately to fix it. The sound also keeps glitching and is either completely silent or distorted sometimes which makes it really hard to check the subtitles are correct and get a general feel for the clip. I end up having to export it just to check the clip is okay which takes a long time. It would be great if these glitches could be looked into because at the moment it's almost faster to edit in Adobe Premier which kind of defeats the point of having an Ai clip cutter!

I am trying to impose a brand standard intro screen (thumbnail) on my clips. To do this I have created a short mp4 video and added it as an intro in the clip, saved the changes and published it to YT. The published clip shows a thumbnail that is neither my intro nor the first image in the clip. I originally had a 01.s intro video. I changed this to 0.5s, to no avail. I have separately been manually editing the title generated by Opus and wanted to complement this with a visual element that reflects my brand. Visual differentiation of shorts seems to be key, some of your rankings actually suggest adding a visual element. How can I do this, so that it acts as a short thumbnail? Is there a workaround?

I make music video reaction videos but the AI can never detect to have the music video on half of the screen and my reaction on the other half. Please make it be able to do that more easier. Other than that this is awesome. I have to manually edit the clips all the time.

When you select multiple scenes and apply the change to each element, it doesn't work. You have to go into each one, move the Visual window slightly, and then it will apply to all of them. In other words, it doesn't work with the visible window that's selected or being studied. You have to move it a little so it detects the change and then applies it to all.

As is well known, the text length in “X” is limited. The preview texts automatically generated by OpusClip are often too long and exceed the allowed length and must then be reworked by hand. It would be a great help and save a lot of time if you adjusted the length of the preview texts to “X” accordingly. Funnily enough, the preview texts generated for TikTok or YouTube are often shorter (although this restriction doesn't seem to exist there). Thank you and greetings Detlev Heil-Wulf

Little video

The scrollbars throughout the site are too small and lack color contrast, making them nearly impossible to see. I would love to see the ability to switch from dark to light mode as well as to increase visibility of scrollbars and navigation.

Dear OpusClip Support Team, Thank you for creating such a great platform — I really appreciate your service. I wanted to share a small usability request. Currently, when editing a video, I love using both the “Remove Pauses” and “Long to Short Video” features. However, it’s a bit inconvenient that they can’t be used in sequence without downloading and re-uploading the file. Right now, I have to: Upload the video and use “Remove Pauses” Download the edited version Re-upload it again to use “Long to Short Video” It would be much more efficient if these two features could be used together within the same workflow — for example, first removing pauses and then immediately converting the same file into short clips, without re-uploading.
