Integration - API Access
planned
Matt Michel
Adding a simple, public-facing API that allows users initiate the process of adding their video and indicating what style the created clips should have. When submitting the request users can specify a webbook URL that will receive status messages indicating clip generation progress. Once the video has finished processing the user receives one final webhook that contains an array of objects representing each created clip with a URL to preview the clip and a URL to download the clip.

Yes, Vadoo provides this api https://www.vadoo.tv/text-to-video-api , so something like that will be good

This would be heaven. Ideally including a module for Make.

Sadly, it seems it was planned a year ago and still no news, so I guess nobody is working on this. Even the basic "send video URL" Make.com module would make a great difference and shouldn't be that difficult to build.

also include integration for make or have webhooks available. Scenario for my use case is send clips from make to airtable/google sheets and have open ai create descriptions and titles before being pushed to youtube.

Being able to publish to YouTube through Opus... initiated by the API would be so helpful

This would truly take Opus to the next level, especially with the OpenAI updates around GPTs and JSON output.

Sebastian Cruze
Jan Koch: Indeed

Do We have a timeline for this? I would love to be able to add this to my workflow after a video is posted. HUGE value add!
S
Sebastian Cruze
Longron MGT: Agreed

This would be great... and very needed. Would love to integrate an Opus API into our video output workflow.
S
Sebastian Cruze
Colton Whited: Agreed

Please make sure that the desired clip duration is among the API input parameters, as well as the desired brand template (if left blank, the default template should be used).

Sebastian Cruze
Elter: Agreed

Give us a Zapier integration please!
S
Sebastian Cruze
Yes or even better Make.com
C
Christina Lopez
Joshua Allen: I second this zapier integration! Would LOVE LOVE LOVE this!
J
Joshua Allen
Christina Lopez: Right! I'm getting all excited to connect my YouTube and Zoom videos into this.

Sebastian Cruze: Make > Zapier on platform, customer service and costs. It's not even close. I used Zapier for years until Integromat rebranded as Make and I found them (again). Moved everything over to Make. API/Webhooks both would fix the need for any Zapier/Make specific integrations.

Darie
William Thomas Meers II: agreed! Make.com is much better than zapier.
S
Sam Steiner
Joshua Allen +1 for Make.com - much more fun than Zapier (and better)
Marcel Samyn
Would absolutely love this! Adding some automations around creating clips would be incredible.
Please include the transcript too when retrieving a clip—I use it to generate my descriptions and hashtags.
