I’m writing to share a brief feature/bug report after using Opus Clips for the past couple of months. First, I want to say it’s an amazing platform and has been very helpful for creating clips. However, I’ve noticed a few issues that seem like bugs or inconsistencies in the editor.

One issue is with the layout automatically changing during clips. Sometimes the video will switch between split layouts unexpectedly. For example, it might use one split layout for a few seconds and then suddenly switch to another. Occasionally it also places the wrong person on top while they’re speaking. Because of this, the layout ends up jumping around and I have to keep manually fixing it.

I’ve also noticed some glitches with text and emoji editing. When I try to move them to a new position, they sometimes jump back to their original spot instead of staying where I placed them.

Another issue happens with the safe-zone overlay (the white layout that shows blocked areas) when editing text. The caption detection often places text in the red zone below the description area instead of within the safe area, which makes it harder to keep captions properly positioned.

Finally, when I try to schedule posts, the dates sometimes change automatically. For example, if I schedule something for May 3rd, it may jump back to May 2nd or forward to May 4th. The interface also tends to lag during this process.

Overall, it seems like there may be several small bugs affecting layout consistency, text placement, and scheduling.
