Ability to make "Long to Shorts" clips from a video already uploaded into My Projects
R
Ron Williams
I uploaded a long video to AI Captions, its sitting in My Projects. In order for me to now make a series of short clips out of it. I would need to re-upload it AGAIN in the Long to Shorts modal. Please add a button that allows me to select from videos that I have already uploaded that are currently sitting in My Projects. These files take an enormous amount of time to upload even with my super high bandwith Starlink upload speed. When they are already on your server, I wouldn't think needing to upload it again is very efficient use of time or server storage. Thanks! Love using OpusClip.

API Endpoint to Re-Prompt Existing Projects
S
System Admin
We’d like to process/upload a video once, store its projectId, and later submit additional ClipAnything prompts through the API to generate new clips from that same processed video.
Ideally the API would accept an existing projectId, a new prompt, and optional timestamp/duration parameters without requiring a new project and reprocessing the source video.

create way to reanlalyze local upload files for 1 click clipping without the need to re upload the file again.
Tony Blair (Store Owner)
This can be very irritating have to re upload the file over and over again to do different features of the software. if we can upload a file. Have that file be a "Base" then do different things to that file like 1 click clippings or long to short or anything else ect

Duplicate Import

Terry Knickerbocker
Having to re-upload a video to run the AI on it again is such a pain. If there was a duplicate option to run a new prompt on the same video, it would save SO much time! Thank you!

Currently, if I have a 20 min video and I want to make one clip, I need to upload that video (takes roughly 15 minutes) to make a single clip. Then, if I wish to make another clip from the same source video, I must re-upload the entire video file again. Please consider retaining the uploaded source files for a period of time to allow users the ability to reuse it.

Allow me to refine my prompt within the same project, without re-uploading footage

The current input box only lets me find specific moments. I want to give more specific instructions and re-phrase my prompts that weren't taken. Please consider making it possible to re-prompt without having to re-upload the whole video. This is a pretty inefficient feature it and would be great to be able to refine a prompt in an easy way, since refining prompts is a key part of AI usage.

Reuse uploaded file in different template

When uploading a file make the option to reuse it with a different template (ie. square) without need to reupload the file

As far as I can tell, I have to re-upload the video each time I want to try again which takes several minutes

Ability to regenerate new clips
M
Miriam Egh
I just generated 5 clips and all of them were taken from the same spot in a 1hr video which is super annoying because you get charged for time. Someone should be able to regenerate any clip that isn't good enough within the same video. Now i have to start over which isn't saving time (which is the point here).

REPROCESS UPLOADED VIDEOS WITH DIFFERENT SETTINGS
K
Kyle Mc Auliffe Cronin
Save time and space on the servers and allow us to reuse a video thats uploaded within a certain time frame 3-7 days so we can reprocess that video in different formats with different settings without reuploading ie. (Clip basic/Clip anything). Different aspects, catagorys, time lenghts, fill splits. (one with fill/ one with split). Different Ratios. Basically with all the same options as if you just uploaded. We often attempt a few different settings to get the right selection of videos combining a mix from a few jobs in our final selection. This would save time reuploading each time and data on your server.
